Position:  Program and Social Media Coordinator (part time contract)

Education and Experience Requirements:  

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree highly desired; recent relevant experience in youth programing, preferred; or any combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.

Job Responsibilities:

Weekly Responsibilities:

  • Help Create and post relevant social media content.

  • Update analytics metrics.

  • Review content calendar and make changes/updates as necessary

  • Maintain “Current Tides” page on website to coordinate with social media

  • Communicate with President and Board as necessary 

Ongoing Responsibilities:

  • Develop and promote youth water polo programing in targeted areas

  • Maintain youth gun safety programming with training partners

  • Develop and maintain youth mental health programs

  • Other duties as assigned

     

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:  

 Knowledge of:

  • Functional knowledge of MS Office required

  • Functional knowledge of Google Workspace

  • Familiar with all the social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and Tiktok 

 Skill in:

  • Organizational and interpersonal skills

  • Self-motivation, teamwork, and collaboration.

  • Written and verbal communication 

Working Conditions:

  • Requires working from home as a contractor utilizing ones’ own computer

  • Frequent communication with the president and others from the organization as necessary

  • Paid monthly as a contractor.
