Ryan Bannon is the first recipient of the Vaughn Bigelow Jr. Scholarship. Ryan graduated in 2019 from Broomfield High School and attends Washington and Jefferson College. His first semester at college found him on the Dean’s List as well as playing on the W&J water polo team.

Ryan wrote on his scholarship application the following:

“Water polo has not only been a source of joy for me these past seven years, it has also been a catalyst for significant personal growth, allowing me to become a healthier, happier, more focused, and well-rounded person.”
