The Big Waves Golf Tournament isn't just a sporting event; it's a chance for us to come together as a community and raise funds to make the world a safer place.
The 6th Annual Big Waves Golf Tournament is our largest fundraising event of the year.
Our entire event (and all that we do) is based on the premise that Big Waves goal is to “create a ripple of positivity” in our community and world. In fact, that mission is in our name—Bring Impact Globally With A Very Energetic Smile.
Rising from a tragedy in 2018 where Vaughn Bigelow, Jr’s energetic smile was taken from us, the Big Waves vision honors Vaughn’s memory by impacting safety and education around mental health and gun violence in such a meaningful way that it has a measured impact on the reduction of injuries and deaths caused by gun accidents and gun violence.
Big Waves allows us to execute our mission to reduce the number of injuries and deaths caused by gun accidents and gun violence by providing education, programming, and safe gun storage to anyone who is in need, as well as providing a constructive outlet for you through the promotion of team sports to help process difficult emotions.
